What we do

The Mathematics Support Centre (MSC) is a FREE service providing informal, friendly additional support to all undergraduate NUIM students.

Full details of the services can be found on our Services Page . Students who register with the MSC will receive weekly emails updating them on the latest news. These details will also be posted on this page.

Our experience has been that regular attendance at the MSC helps improve students' grades.

News

The MSC is now closed for the 2011-12 academic year. We will re-open in September 2012. We would like to take this opportunity to wish all students the very best in their exams and in the future, whatever it may hold.

The competition to name the new joint support facility in Rye Hall, consisting of both the MSC and The Writing Centre has been won by a fourth year science student. Exact details are available here.

The MSC has moved to a new bigger venue, it is now based in Rye Hall (click here for a map) on the North Campus behind the John Hume and Iontas buildings. This venue is shared with the Writing Centre .
